L3 NOC Engineer Routing & Switching | SD-WAN Location: Remote Employment Type: C2C Experience: 714 Years Job Overview We are looking for an experienced L3 NOC Engineer with strong expertise in Enterprise Networking, Routing & Switching, and SD-WAN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling complex network issues, providing L3 support, managing escalations, and ensuring high availability and performance of enterprise network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Provide L3 technical support for enterprise network infrastructure and NOC operations. Troubleshoot complex Routing, Switching, WAN, and connectivity issues. Configure, manage, and support SD-WAN environments. Handle Incident, Problem, and Change Management in accordance with defined SLAs. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major network incidents. Manage technical escalations and collaborate with internal teams and customers for timely resolution. Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity. Identify recurring issues and recommend solutions to improve network stability. Maintain technical documentation, incident reports, and troubleshooting procedures. Mandatory Skills Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS. Solid understanding of Layer 3 networking concepts. Hands-on experience with VLANs, STP, and enterprise network troubleshooting. Strong expertise in SD-WAN Cisco / Meraki / Viptela. Experience in Enterprise NOC Operations and L3 Support. Good knowledge of Firewalls, VPNs, and Network Security. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Good to Have Exposure to Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA). Knowledge of AWS/Azure Networking. ITIL knowledge or certification. Preferred Candidate Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in L3 Network Support, Enterprise Routing & Switching, SD-WAN, and NOC Operations, with the ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve critical network issues. .
