Youll join a cooperative and growing Legal, Governance and Compliance team as the Bank continues to build capability and strengthen how we support the business following our recent merger. What youll be doing: - Provide practical compliance advice, training and support to business units, helping strengthen risk and compliance culture. - Monitor regulatory change, assess business impacts and support implementation of new requirements. - Support compliance frameworks, policies, monitoring activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Undertake risk assessments, control testing and reporting against regulatory obligations. - Identify, assess and escalate compliance risks, issues and breaches where required. - Investigate incidents and breaches, supporting remediation and regulatory reporting. - Maintain compliance systems, registers and reporting to support obligations management, audits, regulatory enquiries and training. - Support broader Legal, Governance and Compliance priorities from time to time. Desired Skills and Experience: About you: Youll be an experienced compliance, risk or regulatory professional with sound financial services knowledge. ADI or banking experience will be highly regarded, particularly across regulatory change, compliance monitoring, obligations management or breach reporting. Youll bring strong judgement, clear communication and the confidence to translate regulatory .
