Job Vacancy Electrical Draughtsman Company: Hexa India Engineers & Consultants Location: India Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Electrical Design About the Company Hexa India Engineers & Consultants is part of the Hexa Group, Qatar, providing qualified MEP and Civil Design, Engineering, Consultancy, and Project Support Services for projects in the Middle East and India. Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Electrical Draughtsman / Draughtswoman to join our Electrical Design team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical drawings and layouts based on engineering designs, project requirements, and specifications. Key Responsibilities - Prepare detailed Electrical Shop Drawings and Design Drawings using AutoCAD. - Prepare electrical layouts including: - Lighting layouts - Power layouts - Single Line Diagrams (SLD) - Cable tray layouts - Small power layouts - Earthing and lightning protection layouts - Electrical equipment layouts - Prepare electrical schematic and installation drawings. - Revise drawings based on comments from Engineers, Consultants, and Clients. - Coordinate electrical drawings with MEP, Architectural, Structural, and other services. - Prepare drawing details, sections, schedules, and legends as required. - Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable standards. - Maintain proper drawing revisions and documentation. - Assist Electrical Engineers in preparing design and construction drawings. Requirements - Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - 25 years of experience as an Electrical Draughtsman/Draughtswoman. - Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD. - Good understanding of electrical systems and MEP building services. - Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, specifications, and layouts. - Knowledge of Revit MEP will be an added advantage. - Knowledge of GCC/Qatar standards and project requirements will be preferred. - Good communication and coordination skills. Preferred Candidate - Candidates with experience in MEP consultancy/design offices will be preferred. - GCC/Qatar project experience will be an advantage. - Should be detail-oriented and able to work within deadlines. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a design team. Salary: Competitive and based on experience and qualifications.
