Job Title: Engineer - Roads & Highways Posting Start Date: 8/10/26 Job Location: BANGALORE Job Summary This position is ideal for motivated professionals with 14 years of experience seeking to develop their expertise in transportation engineering and road design. The Engineer supports the preparation of schematic and detailed designs for transportation projects under the guidance of the Senior Project Engineer and Section Manager. The role involves contributing to road and infrastructure design tasks while ensuring compliance with client requirements, local authority regulations, engineering standards, and company QA/QC procedures. The Engineer may work independently on assigned tasks or as part of a multidisciplinary team including Designers, and CAD Operators. . Key Responsibilities (Financial) Preparation of scope of works and design criteria Adopt QA/QC checking procedures as per company policy to ensure sound and coordinated design both internally and across other disciplines Have full proficiency and experience in the design of Roads (plans and profiles), Design of junctions (Roundabouts, priority junctions, signalized junctions,) both horizontally and vertically Development of site grading, preparation of road cross sections, generating earthwork quantities, Preparation of pavement design and pavement design reports, Preparation of concept and detailed design of interchanges Preparation of power point presentations Preparation of progress reports Sound communication and writing skills Sound in preparing technical reports Education Qualification Masters in Civil / Transportation/ Related (Mandatory) Experience Required 1-4 Years relevant experience in Roads & Highways design Skillsets Proficiency in Civil 3D, Auto CAD Understanding of engineering standards, codes of practice and local authorities guidelines Core Competencies Expertise in roadway, junction, grading, and pavement design using Civil 3D & AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of engineering standards, local authority guidelines, and QA/QC procedures. Skilled in BOQ verification, technical reporting, and quantity estimation. Effective team player with strong communication and timely project delivery skills. .
