Description The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Guidewire platform, specializing in ClaimsCenter, PolicyCenter, and the integration of Guidewire with other systems. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance business processes, strong technical skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering Guidewire solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuration, development, and integration activities, and will play a key role in the full project lifecycle, from design to deployment. Key Responsibilities Guidewire Configuration:Configure and customize Guidewire applications (ClaimsCenter and PolicyCenter) to meet business requirements.Work with Gosu, GOSU Scripting, and other Guidewire-specific technologies to develop and maintain custom business logic and enhancements.Utilize Guidewire Studio for configuration and development tasks.Implement and configure screen changes, wizards, and workflows.Integration:Design, develop, and implement integrations between Guidewire and third-party systems using web services (SOAP/REST), messaging queues, and other integration patterns.Configure and customize Guidewire's integration framework.Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues.Experience with middleware technologies is a plus.Business Analysis & Solution Design:Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.Translate business needs into technical specifications and solution designs.Provide guidance and expertise on Guidewire best practices and solutioning.Participate in solution design sessions and technical workshops.Technical Leadership & Mentoring:Act as a subject matter expert for Guidewire ClaimsCenter and PolicyCenter.Mentor junior developers and team members on Guidewire development and configuration.Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.Data Management (Good to Have):Possess a strong understanding of the Guidewire data model.Experience with data migration, data transformation, and data analysis within the Guidewire ecosystem.Knowledge of SQL and database concepts. Working knowledge on Cloud database (eg Snowflake) is added advantage. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.7+ years of professional experience in the IT industry, with 5+ years of dedicated experience with the Guidewire platform.Must have experience in areas: Guidewire ClaimsCenter, PolicyCenter, and Integrations.Guidewire Certification is mandatory. (e.g., Guidewire Certified Associate, Guidewire Certified Professional in ClaimsCenter/PolicyCenter, etc.).Proven experience with Guidewire Studio, GOSU, GOSU Scripting, and the Guidewire APIs.Hands-on experience with integration technologies such as RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and XML/JSON.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications (Good To Have) Experience with Guidewire Cloud.Knowledge of Guidewire DataHub and InfoCenter.Familiarity with Guidewire InsuranceSuite components beyond ClaimsCenter and PolicyCenter (e.g., BillingCenter).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Familiarity with various insurance lines of business (e.g., Commercial Auto, Workers' Compensation, Property & Casualty). .
