Job Description Databricks Solution Architect Position: Solution Architect Databricks Experience: 10+ Years Relevant Solution Architect Experience: 4+ Years Location: Hyderabad / Remote Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Databricks Solution Architect with 10+ years of overall experience and 4+ years of hands-on experience working in a Solution Architect role. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, and modern data engineering architectures . The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using Databricks and Spark, while working closely with technical and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Design and architect scalable data engineering and analytics solutions using Databricks and Apache Spark. Define end-to-end data architecture, including data ingestion, processing, transformation, storage, and consumption. Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to data engineering teams. Develop and review solutions using PySpark and Databricks . Design high-performance and fault-tolerant Spark-based data processing solutions. Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical architectures. Define architecture standards, best practices, design patterns, and technical roadmaps. Perform architecture reviews and ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and reliability requirements. Troubleshoot complex data processing and performance issues. Mentor technical teams and guide them on Databricks, Spark, and data engineering best practices. Mandatory Skills 10+ years of overall IT experience. 4+ years of experience as a Solution Architect. Mandatory Databricks Certification or Databricks Champion status. Excellent knowledge of Apache Spark . Strong hands-on experience with PySpark . Strong hands-on experience with Databricks . Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions. Strong understanding of data engineering and modern data architecture principles. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Good to Have Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP . Experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture. Knowledge of data governance, security, and data quality frameworks. Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for data platforms. Experience working in large enterprise environments. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a strong technical architect with deep expertise in Databricks and Spark , capable of translating complex business requirements into scalable data architectures. The candidate should have strong hands-on technical knowledge along with proven architectural leadership experience.
