The Position Job description At Roche, the Engineering Excellence & Experience (E3) organization builds the robust engineering bedrock that powers the future of medicine. We deliver foundational application lifecycle platforms, core developer platforms and AI tools required to build software seamlessly. By embedding application security and testing solutions directly into the engineering workflow, democratizing software delivery via low-code tools for non-technical creators, and surfacing data-driven insights, E3 accelerates secure, high-quality software delivery enterprise-wide. As a Senior Developer Advocate, you will serve as the ultimate "Customer Success Champion," engineer-educator, and community-builder for the E3 technical ecosystem. Operating as a pragmatic, highly technical partner, you will bridge the gap between our global developer community and internal platform teams. You will dive deep into real-world developer workflows to eliminate complex delivery friction, bringing the professional integrity needed to honestly identify platform gaps and carry those insights back to our product squads. Ultimately, your mission is to empower practitioners through meaningful relationships and shared best practices that help our engineering community thrive with our tools while ensuring internal teams deeply understand their evolving needs. Job Responsibilities Prototype technical integrations and templates between core E3 platforms and diverse, business-specific development pipelines. Support engineering community members through hands-on troubleshooting, architecture reviews, and pairing sessions, modeling high standards for modern software development practices. Build compelling presentations, demos, technical blogs, and sample solutions showcasing E3 capabilities. Actively engage and support the internal Roche engineering community through inner-sourcing initiatives, internal tech talks, and hackathons. Represent internal engineer needs by providing direct feedback on bugs, creating feature requests, and documenting workflow friction to help platform product squads improve the developer experience. Maintain a strong presence and high credibility within internal communication channels, developer forums, and technical communities relevant to Roche engineers and non-technical creators. Encourage, simplify, and drive the organic adoption of E3 capabilities across the company. Engage as a technical spokesperson and champion for the E3 organization across Roche business units. Communicate developer feedback trends, platform adoption milestones, and workflow bottlenecks clearly to E3 leadership and stakeholders. Act as a mentor and resource for internal engineers and platform squad members, sharing technical knowledge, best practices, and guidance on embedded AppSec and AI tools. Contribute directly to platform product vision discussions, advocating for critical improvements in documentation, API usability, and the end-to-end developer experience. Who You Are: Bachelor or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of full-stack software development, DevOps, or Platform Engineering experience, with a strong comfort level writing code and analyzing architecture pipelines. Deep familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code ( IaC ), CI/CD engines, container orchestration, and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, automated code review agents). Proven ability to build reference architectures, starter kits, and mock environments that developers can clone and deploy in minutes. Strong customer focus, ownership, initiative, and drive. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in complex, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments. #hyderabad2026 Who we are A healthier future drives us to innovate. Here's where they are and how to stand out in your next interview.

That number includes positions in India (9,577), Poland (3,429), the United States (1,753), Singapore (787), and Brazil (779). If you're looking to move or work remotely, check which countries match your goals — then filter WorkMundi by location to see what's actually hiring near you.

Most developer ads you'll see are written in English: 18,397 of the 24,795. That doesn't tell you whether the job itself requires you to speak English or work in English daily, so read each posting carefully. Don't assume the language of the ad matches the language of the team.

The employers posting the most developer roles are Link Group (369 jobs), Upvanta (257), jobgether (226), and OfferZen (212). If you're applying to any of these, research their hiring patterns. They move fast and post often, which means they're either scaling hard or replacing people who didn't fit.

In your interview, expect this: 'Walk me through the last time you had to debug something that took you more than an hour. What was it, what did you try first, and what would you do differently?' Hiring managers ask this to see if you think systematically or just try random fixes. Have a real example ready with specifics.
