AI-First Full-Stack Engineer Bangalore Build products, not tickets. We are building a small team of ambitious engineers in Bangalore to explore how much a talented, AI-first development team can accomplish. We are hiring now, interviewing this week, and ready to start immediately. If you're looking to make a move several months from now, this isn't the right opportunity. We're building AI optimization loops that learn from real-world outcomes and continuously improve advertising, content and the customer booking journey, alongside standalone AI products ranging from large-scale advertising intelligence to edge AI that understands speech, sound and activity in the physical world. What You'll Work On Our core stack includes: TypeScript Next.js React Node.js PostgreSQL Payload CMS LLMs Google APIs Stripe Projects range from rebuilding our travel and booking platform to AI-driven advertising optimization, automation, analytics and new standalone products. We use Claude Code, Cursor and other AI development tools aggressively. We want to explore not just how AI makes developers faster, but how it changes what a small engineering team is capable of building. Who We're Looking For Ideally you have 2 to 6 years of real development experience, strong software fundamentals and experience building modern full-stack applications. More important than your degree, title or resume is what you can actually build. We're looking for people who: Learn quickly and enjoy unfamiliar problems. Are genuinely interested in AI and AI-assisted development. Can work independently without detailed instructions. Think about the product, not just the code. Care about getting things built and shipped. Our hiring process is deliberately simple: Application Conversation Technical/Product Discussion Paid Build Week Offer Candidates who pass the interviews will move quickly into a fully paid one-week build. We'll give you a real product idea, access to the AI coding tools you need, and one objective: Take it as far toward a market-ready product as you can in one week. Use AI as much as you want. We're evaluating how you think, how effectively you use AI, what you prioritize, how quickly you learn and, most importantly, what you actually ship. Hiring decisions will be based heavily on real-world performance, not credentials. This is an in-person Bangalore role working directly with an American founder and a small development team. This isn't a traditional corporate office. There is little hierarchy or bureaucracy. The environment is informal and open, but ambitious and fast-moving. We care about ownership and output rather than fixed office hours. If you're looking for a predictable 9-to-5 role with narrowly defined responsibilities, this probably isn't the right fit. If you want to work with smart people, experiment with cutting-edge AI and start building now, we'd like to meet you. Compensation: 18 to 25 lakh, depending on experience and demonstrated ability, with flexibility for exceptional candidates. Optional assistance with accommodation near our Bangalore workspace is available. .

144,883 engineer jobs are open right now

Here's how to pick the right one and stand out in your application.

144.883Jobs

That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
