We are looking for: Lead System Engineer- MV and LV Transformers Youll make an impact by: Review and validate the engineering and design of MV and LV transformer products, including oil-immersed and dry-type transformers.Serve as the subject matter expert for transformer electrical, mechanical, thermal, and dielectric design.Approve engineering calculations, design packages, general arrangement drawings, and technical documentation.Drive design standardization and implementation of Siemens engineering best practices.Lead technology development initiatives focused on energy efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.Perform and review calculations for:Transformer losses and efficiencyImpedance and short-circuit withstand capabilityThermal performance and temperature riseMechanical strength and structural integrityProject Execution & Customer InterfaceLead engineering execution for strategic customer projects and business-critical opportunities.Act as the primary technical contact for customers, consultants, utilities, and certification agencies.Review customer specifications, technical tenders, and compliance requirements.Participate in design reviews, customer meetings, and factory acceptance tests (FATs).Manufacturing & Quality Support:Provide technical leadership to manufacturing teams during production and testing.Support routine, type, special, and customer witness testing activities.Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for field and factory quality issues.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational excellence.Compliance & Standards:Ensure compliance with: IEC 60076 series, IEEE C57 standards, IS 2026.Stay current with industry standards, emerging technologies, and sustainability regulations.Use your skills to move the world forward! Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.8-10+ years of experience in transformer engineering, design, testing, or product development.Proven experience leading technical teams and complex engineering projects.Strong experience with MV transformer designs up to 36 kV and associated LV transformer applications.Expertise in transformer electromagnetic, thermal, mechanical, and insulation design.Deep knowledge of transformer manufacturing processes and testing methodologies.Hands-on experience with transformer design software and engineering calculation tools.Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent CAD platforms.Knowledge of value engineering, reliability engineering, and cost optimization techniques.Create a better #TomorrowWithUs! If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
