Senior Specialist - Software Engineering (AS400) Experience: 8-12 Years Location: Chennai Industry: BFSI / Banking / Financial Services Mandatory Job Description: We are looking for an experienced AS400 Developer with 8+ years of experience in AS400 development and enhancement projects. Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in AS400, ILE COBOL, RPGLE, Free Format RPG, CL/CLLE and SQL on DB2. Required Skills: AS400 / IBM i ILE COBOL / COBOL RPGLE / RPG IV / Free Format RPG CL / CLLE / CL/400 SQL on DB2 / DB2/400 AS400 Development & Enhancement SFTP File Transfers Web Services / APIs XML / JSON Message-Based Integration AS400 Interface Applications Unit Testing and Production Releases Domain Experience: BFSI experience is mandatory. Candidates with experience in Investment Instruments such as Equities, Bonds, Mutual Funds, ETFs and Corporate Actions will be preferred. Additional Requirements: Strong knowledge of AS400 concepts including DBU, WRKQRY, Subfiles, Jobs and Job Descriptions. Experience in AS400 interface applications and integration projects. Exposure to Web Services, APIs, XML and JSON. Strong understanding of unit testing and defect-free releases. Knowledge of Change Management tools and Turnover is an added advantage.
