Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Receiving & Issuing: Check incoming building supplies (like steel, cement, and finishing materials) against purchase orders and delivery challans, and issue them to site engineers against requisition slips. Inventory Management: Maintain manual or ERP-based stock registers, record daily receipts and issues, and track minimum/reorder stock levels .Stock Verification: Conduct regular physical audits and reconciliations of inventory to report damages, losses, or discrepancies to the Store Incharge or Project Manager. Vendor & Purchase Coordination: Follow up with vendors and the purchase department for timely material deliveries and process Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).Site Safety & Organization: Ensure safe storage, proper stacking, and organized handling of construction materials to prevent wastage or site hazards.
