JOB DESCRIPTION STAFF NURSE Department: Nursing Designation: Staff Nurse Reporting To: Nursing In-charge / Nursing Superintendent Location: KIMS Super Speciality Hospital, Bilaspur (C.G.) Job Summary Responsible for providing safe, compassionate and quality nursing care to patients while maintaining hospital protocols, infection-control practices and NABH standards. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients as per physician's instructions and hospital protocols. Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output and patient condition. Administer medications, injections, IV fluids and other treatments accurately. Assist doctors during examinations, procedures and emergencies. Maintain proper nursing documentation, case sheets and nursing notes. Ensure proper handover/takeover during shift changes. Follow medication safety and patient identification protocols. Maintain infection prevention and control practices. Ensure proper use and maintenance of nursing equipment. Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment, medication and care. Report any change in patient's condition immediately to the concerned doctor. Follow hospital policies, emergency protocols and NABH standards. Maintain patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality. Participate in audits, training programs and quality-improvement activities. Qualifications GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution. Valid registration with the State Nursing Council. Relevant hospital experience preferred. Freshers may be considered for suitable positions. Skills Good clinical and communication skills. Ability to work in shifts. Team-oriented and responsible. Good documentation skills. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly. Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices. Compensation: 8,000.00 - 35,000.00 per month Benefits: Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location: In person .
