Location: Pune Experience: 15+ years Relocation: PAN India candidates willing to relocate to Pune can apply About the Role We are hiring a Director Human Resources for a reputed higher-education institution in Pune. This is a senior HR leadership opportunity for a professional who brings a combination of Education-sector exposure, Corporate HR experience and diverse organisational experience. The role will work closely with senior leadership to strengthen HR strategy, people practices, organisational development and employee engagement across a large and diverse institution. Key Responsibilities - Lead the overall Human Resources function and HR strategy. - Partner with senior leadership on people and organisational priorities. - Drive talent acquisition, talent management and succession planning. - Strengthen performance management and employee engagement practices. - Develop and implement HR policies, systems and processes. - Drive organisation development and culture-building initiatives. - Build leadership capability and employee development programs. - Manage employee relations and HR governance. - Strengthen HR processes for a diverse workforce comprising different employee groups. - Lead HR transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. - Act as a strategic HR partner to institutional leadership. Ideal Candidate We are particularly looking for candidates who have: - Senior HR leadership experience with 15+ years of overall experience. - Meaningful experience in the Education / Higher Education / EdTech / Education Services sector. - Robust exposure to Corporate HR and professionally managed organisations. - Experience across multiple industries / diverse organisational environments. - Experience handling strategic HR along with strong HR operational understanding. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. - Experience working with senior leadership and managing complex employee environments. - Proven experience in HR strategy, OD, talent management, performance management and employee engagement.
