## Join Our Team as an Assistant Product Sustainability Engineer At KSB, a leading global supplier of pumps, valves, and related services, we're looking for an Assistant Product Sustainability Engineer to join our team in Pune. Our products are essential in building services, industry, water transport, waste water treatment, power plant processes, and mining, and we are committed to ecology and sustainability in everything we do. In this role, you will collect, validate, and analyze product, material, manufacturing, and logistics data. You'll conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) of products in line with KSB procedures and ensure compliance with European and global material, chemical, and electrical regulations through periodic checks. Maintaining sustainability and compliance data within PLM, ERP, and compliance management systems, you will ensure data accuracy, traceability, and documentation integrity. You'll support the implementation of international sustainability guidelines across KSB product development processes and sales channels, right through to the end of the product life cycle, collaborating closely with Product Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams. A key part of your work will be raising awareness of sustainability issues and ensuring adherence to relevant environmental regulations and standards. ### What We're Looking For - Educational Background: A Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Environmental & Sustainability Engineering with 4-6 years of professional experience, OR a Diploma in Mechanical/Environmental Engineering with 8-10 years of experience. - Technical Competencies: You should have initial professional experience in the OEM industry, with a preference for pumps or valves. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis is required, along with experience working with PLM and SAP material master modules. Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies and environmental regulations is a plus, and a genuine interest in product sustainability and compliance topics is essential. - Behavioral Competencies: We are looking for a team-oriented professional with a positive and proactive mindset. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial, as are effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
