Overview JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Designer - Cross Industry Solutions Location: Remote | Work From Anywhere About the Role The Experience Designer is responsible for designing thoughtful, user-centered solutions that meet the needs of customers and end users. You'll leverage cutting-edge design tools and methodologies to translate complex user insights into compelling design concepts, interactive prototypes, and scalable design systems. From early-stage research to final product delivery, you'll lead end-to-end design initiatives that drive meaningful impact across the organization. This is a role for a design thinker who leads with empathy, communicates with clarity, and delivers with precision. You'll collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and senior leadership bridging the gap between user needs and business goals. Candidates with a strong, demonstrable portfolio showcasing end-to-end design thinking, UX artifacts, and shipped products will be given priority consideration. Your Role Responsibilities Here's What You'll Do. Translate user insights and customer needs into design concepts, journeys, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Axure RP, and InVision, ensuring designs are responsive, accessible, and aligned with WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards. Lead large design projects through complete product lifecycles from early research and conception using Miro or Mural for collaborative ideation, through development handoff via Zeplin or Abstract, release, and iterative refinement. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including product managers, product owners, development engineers, and senior management using Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams to align on product vision, roadmaps, and design strategy. Partner with user researchers to plan, develop, and execute research using platforms such as UserTesting, Lookback, Hotjar, and Optimal Workshop to define, optimize, and evolve products while proactively identifying knowledge gaps. Use storytelling methods and data visualization techniques to communicate complex design concepts to varied audiences, clearly articulating reasoning, principles, and user insights that drive design decisions. Mentor, coach, and train team members while providing annotated design specifications and interaction documentation using Storybook and Design Tokens that detail interaction behaviors and acceptance criteria for developers.
