About the Role We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 5 6 years of experience in API Testing and TOSCA Automation. This role requires strong technical expertise in validating backend services designing API test strategies and developing automation using TOSCA. TOSCA experience and training are mandatory with a strong expectation that the candidate can design build and maintain a TOSCA automation framework from scratch including reusable components standards and governance. Candidates with AS1 and AS2 certifications will be preferred. Key Responsibilities API Testing Perform REST and SOAP API testing using Postman SOAP UI Swagger or equivalent. Validate complete API workflows including: Request/response structure validation Header validations Authentication: OAuth JWT Basic Auth API Keys Query & path parameters Error handling exception flows and status codes Design and execute API test cases for: Functional & integration testing Contract testing (OpenAPI/Swagger) Regression testing Boundary negative and data driven scenarios Analyze backend logs failures and service behaviour for troubleshooting. Validate API interactions with downstream systems DBs message brokers and microservices. Work closely with developers for issue triage and debugging. Maintain API test datasets and ensure high scenario coverage. Contribute to API automation where applicable via TOSCA API Scan.
