Role Overview We are looking for an AEM Localization Author responsible for coordinating content localization across central and regional/geo teams. The role focuses on ensuring that AEM content is localization-ready, coordinating handoffs with translation teams, tracking rollout progress, and ensuring that localized content is delivered accurately and efficiently across markets. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), content authoring, site structures, localization workflows, and translation processes. Key Responsibilities Localization Planning & Coordination Coordinate localization readiness, handoffs, timelines, and status updates between central and geo/market teams. Capture regional and market-specific localization requirements early in the content planning process. Ensure localization requirements are reflected in AEM page, template, and content rollout plans. Coordinate with content, translation, technology, and regional teams to resolve localization dependencies and issues. AEM Content Readiness Review AEM source pages before localization to ensure they are ready for translation and rollout. Validate page structure, content hierarchy, metadata, components, and content references. Ensure appropriate use of AEM Core Components and reusable content structures. Identify and resolve content issues that could impact translation or localized publishing. Use AEM capabilities such as Language Copies, Live Copies, Blueprints, Site Hierarchy, and Localization Configuration to support scalable localization. Translation & Localization Workflow Work within the existing AEM localization ecosystem and translation management processes. Coordinate content handoffs with translation vendors, connectors, and translation management tools. Monitor translation status and ensure localized content is returned, reviewed, and published within agreed timelines. Support troubleshooting of localization and translation workflow issues. Rollout & Status Tracking Track localized content rollout progress across countries, regions, and markets. Maintain visibility of localization status, dependencies, blockers, and exceptions. Use AEM localization dashboards or custom tracking mechanisms to provide accurate status reporting. Escalate delays, content issues, and market-specific exceptions to the appropriate teams. Support continuous improvement of localization workflows and processes. Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) authoring and content management. Strong understanding of AEM Sites, Templates, Core Components, Page Hierarchy, and Content Structures. Experience with AEM localization features such as:Language CopiesLive CopiesBlueprintsMSM (Multi Site Manager)Translation/Localization Configuration Experience working with translation management systems, translation connectors, or localization tools. Understanding of content localization and translation workflows. Experience coordinating with global, regional, and cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify content and metadata issues before localization. Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to track multiple markets, dependencies, timelines, and rollout activities. .
