Senior Technical Writer

About the Role Adobe is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Writer to create, review, and maintain high-quality technical and product documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with software/product documentation and collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, SMEs, and other stakeholders to translate complex technical information into clear, accurate, and user-friendly content. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain product and technical documentation, including user guides, developer documentation, release notes, knowledge base articles, implementation guides, and other technical content. Review and edit documentation created by other technical writers to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and quality. Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, QA, and SMEs to understand product features and technical requirements. Simplify complex technical concepts and workflows into easy-to-understand documentation. Maintain and follow documentation standards, style guides, terminology, and editorial best practices. Manage documentation throughout its lifecycle, from planning and creation to review, publishing, and maintenance. Contribute to information architecture, content organization, and documentation quality improvements. Support documentation for product releases, new features, enhancements, and technical changes. Identify gaps and inconsistencies in existing documentation and recommend improvements. Mentor or provide guidance to junior technical writers where required. Use modern documentation and collaboration tools to manage content and documentation workflows. Explore and leverage AI-assisted tools and automation to improve documentation efficiency and quality. Mandatory Skills 812 years of Technical Writing / Technical Documentation experience Strong experience in Product Documentation / Software Documentation Experience creating and editing User Guides, Release Notes, Knowledge Base, SOPs, Implementation Guides, or similar documentation Strong editorial/reviewing and proofreading skills Experience collaborating with Engineering, Product Managers, QA, and SMEs Strong understanding of documentation standards, style guides, and content quality Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills API / Developer Documentation DITA / XML / Structured Authoring Docs-as-Code Markdown / Git Adobe RoboHelp / FrameMaker MadCap Flare Oxygen XML Confluence / Jira Knowledge Base / CCMS Information Architecture Documentation Governance AI-assisted documentation / ChatGPT / Copilot / Claude Compensation: 2,000,000.00 - 2,200,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Application Question(s): What is your current CTC What is your notice period Work Location: In person .
