Position: Admin cum Maintenance Executive Location: AIMS Institutes, Bengaluru Reporting To: Administration Manager / Principal About AIMS Institutes AIMS Institutes, formerly Acharya Institute of Management and Sciences, is a reputed private, self-financed institution in Bengaluru, affiliated with Bengaluru University, committed to providing quality education supported by efficient campus operations. Role Summary The Admin cum Maintenance Executive will be responsible for supporting administrative operations and ensuring effective maintenance of campus infrastructure and facilities. The role involves coordination with vendors, monitoring day-to-day maintenance activities, handling basic administrative tasks, and ensuring a safe, clean, and functional campus environment. Key Responsibilities Administrative Support Assist the Administration Manager in day-to-day administrative activities. Coordinate with academic and non-academic departments for administrative requirements. Maintain records related to administration, maintenance, and vendors. Support compliance documentation and internal inspections. Maintenance & Facilities Management Oversee routine maintenance of buildings, classrooms, laboratories, hostels, washrooms, and common areas. Monitor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, civil, HVAC, and basic IT-related maintenance work. Ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns. Maintain maintenance schedules and service logs. Vendor & Service Coordination Coordinate with maintenance vendors, contractors, and service providers. Supervise outsourced services such as housekeeping, security, pest control, and waste management. Verify work completion and report issues to the Administration Manager. Assist in tracking service contracts and renewals. Asset & Inventory Management Assist in maintaining records of assets, tools, spares, and consumables. Ensure proper utilization and upkeep of institutional assets. Support periodic physical verification of assets. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure adherence to safety standards and cleanliness norms across the campus. Support fire safety, electrical safety, and general compliance requirements. Report hazards, incidents, and safety concerns immediately. Event & Examination Support Provide logistical and maintenance support for admissions, examinations, audits, seminars, and institutional events. Ensure classrooms, halls, and infrastructure are prepared and functional for events. Staff & Daily Operations Supervise housekeeping, maintenance helpers, and other support staff assigned. Monitor attendance, duty allocation, and discipline of maintenance staff. Coordinate with HR/Admin for manpower and shift planning. Qualifications & Experience Educational Qualification Diploma / Graduate in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) or any relevant discipline. Experience Minimum 36 years of experience in administration and maintenance, preferably in an educational institution, hospital, or large campus environment. Skills & Competencies Basic technical knowledge of civil, electrical, and mechanical maintenance Strong coordination and follow-up skills Ability to handle vendors and service staff Good communication and reporting skills Problem-solving and multitasking abilities Knowledge of safety and compliance standards Working knowledge of MS Office Skills: vendors,campus,maintenance,administrative .
