Role Description This remote 15-day internship in Stock Market Data Science & Portfolio Management offers practical exposure to quantitative finance and trading. Interns will assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing market data, and help evaluate stock market trends and trading signals using data science techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting backtesting of trading strategies, contributing to portfolio performance analysis, and preparing concise reports and visualizations for internal review. Interns may collaborate with mentors on improving existing models, documenting methods, and exploring new technical analysis indicators. This internship role is designed for individuals seeking short-term, intensive experience in applying analytical skills to real market scenarios. Qualifications Strong interest and foundational knowledge in Stock Market concepts and Trading. Ability to work with Technical Analysis tools and contribute to Trading Strategies. Demonstrated Analytical Skills, including data interpretation and problem-solving. Familiarity with basic statistics, Excel or similar tools; exposure to Python, R, or other data science languages is an advantage. Current student or recent graduate in finance, economics, data science, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline. Comfort working remotely, with reliable internet access and the ability to meet short-term deadlines. Clear written and verbal communication skills, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
