Job Overview: The Asset Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the financial management and strategic planning of our portfolio. This role involves working closely with senior management to ensure the effective management and performance monitoring of investments, providing financial analysis and insights, and assisting in the development of financial strategies. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth financial analysis of investments, including cash flow modelling, risk assessment, and performance evaluation. Prepare and present regular financial reports, performance metrics, and investment updates to senior management and stakeholders. Monitor and analyse market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting the portfolio. Assist in managing and optimizing the portfolio, including assessing new investment opportunities and performing due diligence. Track and report on the performance of existing investments, ensuring adherence to financial covenants and compliance requirements. Support the development of financial strategies and investment plans for infrastructure projects, including feasibility studies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and implement financial strategies and operational improvements. Provide support during audits by reviewing necessary documentation, responding to auditor inquiries and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Collaborate to address audit findings and implement recommendations for process improvements. Qualifications: CA with experience in Finance & Accounting. An advanced degree (MBA) or professional certifications completed or ongoing (CFA, CPA) is a plus. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, investment management, or business finance, preferably with a focus on debt raise and investments. Strong understanding of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and portfolio management. Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial databases like Tableau, PowerBi). Expectations: Demonstrate a proactive approach with the ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and work independently with minimal supervision. Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work. Show resourcefulness in identifying solutions to financial challenges and implementing effective strategies. Communicate complex financial information clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders.
