We are looking for a motivated and experienced Shopify App Developer to join our core development team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development, deployment, and scaling of features across our portfolio of existing applications, as well as leading the technical development of new apps from concept to launch. This is a crucial role for a candidate who is ready to take ownership and thrives in the fast-paced, high-stakes environment of the Shopify ecosystem. Experience Required: A full-stack developer with demonstrated experience in Shopify App development (end-to-end). Must have: At least 1 year of experience building and deploying production-ready Shopify Public Apps. Familiarity with the Remix framework. Experience in scaling SaaS applications with high transaction volumes. Prior experience optimizing SQL queries for speed and efficiency. Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Heroku). Key Responsibilities: New App Development: Lead the technical design and implementation of new, scalable Shopify applications built using modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Node.js) . Feature Scaling: Develop and scale features across existing apps (like BundleSuite), focusing on performance and reliability during peak seasons (e.g., BFCM). Shopify Integration: Deeply integrate with the Shopify API (REST and GraphQL) to manage core app functions, handle webhook events, and ensure seamless order fulfilment and inventory syncing. Backend & Database Management: Design, optimize, and maintain robust database schemas, specifically with PostgreSQL , to handle millions of transactions efficiently and reliably. Code Quality: Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, participating in code reviews and upholding best practices across all apps. Ecosystem Expertise: Stay current with Shopify platform changes and best practices to ensure all apps remain functional, secure, and compliant.
