Job - Lead Content Deployment / Release Engineer Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat Hybrid Experience: 8+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Interview Process Round 1: Virtual Technical Interview Round 2: Face-to-Face Interview Job Overview We are seeking a Lead Content Deployment / Release Engineer with 8+ years of experience to manage content deployments, release pipelines, and deployment operations across Linux-based environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Linux, Shell scripting, Jenkins, Bamboo, and CI/CD deployment pipelines, along with the ability to troubleshoot deployment issues and support content-delivery integrations. Key Responsibilities Execute and manage content deployments and release pipelines using Jenkins and Bamboo. Monitor and troubleshoot deployment and release-related issues across Linux-based environments. Develop and maintain Shell scripts to automate deployment and operational activities. Troubleshoot Linux- and Shell-level issues impacting application and content deployments. Support Box API integrations for content delivery. Monitor deployment health and application/release activities using Datadog. Work with Node.js and MySQL as required for deployment and application support activities. Manage source control and release activities using SVN and Git. Support applications and deployment components involving Perl, Scala, and Grails. Work with HTML, JSON, CSS, and XML as part of content and application deployment activities. Investigate deployment failures, identify root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions. Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases. Maintain deployment documentation, procedures, and operational guidelines. Required Skills 8+ years of experience in Release Engineering, Deployment Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role. Strong hands-on experience with Linux. Strong Shell scripting experience. Experience with Jenkins and/or Bamboo for CI/CD and release pipelines. Experience managing and troubleshooting application/content deployments. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience with SVN and Git. Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring tools. Familiarity with Box API or API-based content delivery integrations. Good to Have Experience with Node.js. Experience with MySQL. Knowledge of Perl or Scala. Experience with Grails. Knowledge of HTML, JSON, CSS, and XML. Experience supporting enterprise-scale content deployment environments. Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and release management processes. .
