Job title: BMC Remedy Support Engineer Experience: 2+ years Location : Delhi Notice period: Immediate joiner Overview We are seeking a skilled BMC Remedy Support Engineer to provide application support, maintenance, and operational excellence for our BMC Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM) platform. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting BMC Remedy/Helix applications, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a solid understanding of ITIL processes. In this role, you will ensure the stability, availability, and performance of the Remedy environment while providing exceptional support to business users. Key Responsibilities Provide Level 1 and Level 2 application support for BMC Remedy ITSM applications.Monitor application health, performance, and availability to ensure compliance with defined SLAs.Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB, and Service Request Management (SRM) modules.Perform routine system administration, configuration changes, and user account management.Investigate application errors, identify root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions.Coordinate with development teams for bug fixes, enhancements, and defect resolution.Support application upgrades, patch installations, and release deployments.Create and manage users, roles, permissions, and access controls.Monitor system integrations and resolve interface-related issues involving REST APIs and web services.Execute data validation activities, generate reports, and perform basic SQL queries when required.Maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.Provide functional and technical support to end users, ensuring timely issue resolution.Participate in system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post-deployment validation.Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, organizational standards, and support best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability, performance, and user experience.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.2+ years of experience supporting BMC Remedy or BMC Helix ITSM applications.Hands-on experience with BMC Remedy AR System administration and configuration.Strong understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration Management.Experience with user administration, access management, and production support.Knowledge of SQL and experience working with Oracle Database and/or Microsoft SQL Server.Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and application integrations.Experience supporting application upgrades, patch management, and release deployments.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced support environment. .
