Job Description Technical Business Analyst (Scrum) Job Title: Technical Business Analyst Scrum Experience: 8+ Years Employment Type: Contract Work Mode: Remote Contract Duration: 1 year Location: Remote India Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst with 8+ years of experience to bridge business requirements and technical implementation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, requirement analysis, user story development, stakeholder management, and technical documentation . The candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC to ensure requirements are clearly defined and successfully delivered. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements. Translate business requirements into detailed User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria . Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters during Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming/Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives . Work closely with Development and QA teams throughout the SDLC. Prepare BRD, FRD, Functional Specifications, Use Cases, Process Flows, and Technical Documentation . Perform Gap Analysis and Impact Analysis for new requirements and system changes. Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirement workshops, walkthroughs, and UAT sessions. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of requirements. Analyze APIs, databases, integrations, and data flows to assess technical feasibility. Support defect triage, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution . Ensure requirements are properly tracked and maintained in Jira and Confluence . Support UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and business sign-off. Mandatory Skills 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst Strong Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering Agile/Scrum Methodology User Story Writing & Acceptance Criteria BRD / FRD / Functional Specifications Stakeholder Management Sprint Planning & Backlog Management Jira & Confluence SQL and Database Concepts REST API Analysis Data Mapping UML & BPMN Process Flow Diagrams UAT Coordination SDLC Gap & Impact Analysis Technical Documentation Preferred Technical Skills SQL Queries REST API Testing using Postman / Swagger JSON / XML Data Modeling Microservices Architecture basic understanding Cloud fundamentals AWS / Azure System Integration Projects Visio / Lucidchart Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field . Minimum 8 years of relevant Business Analysis experience . Proven experience working with technical teams and enterprise applications. Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments . Good to Have CSM / PSM certification CBAP / CCBA certification Experience in Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Retail, or FinTech domains Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, APIs, cloud platforms, and integration architecture .
