Role Overview : We are looking for an experienced Lead Database Administrator (SQL Server) with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration, performance tuning, Always On Availability Groups, replication, cloud-based SQL environments, and database automation. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing large-scale production environments and leading database administration initiatives independently.Key Responsibilities : - Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server environments across Azure and AWS platforms.- Manage database availability, backup, restore, disaster recovery, and Always On Availability Groups.- Troubleshoot and optimize SQL Server performance in production environments.- Manage Transactional Replication and Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines.- Develop and maintain SSIS packages, SQL Agent jobs, and SSRS reporting infrastructure.- Perform SQL code reviews and enforce database best practices.- Manage production deployments through structured change control processes.- Build performance dashboards, automate administrative tasks, and support database migration projects.- Participate in on-call production support and incident resolution.Mandatory Skills : - Microsoft SQL Server, Always On Availability Groups, Transactional Replication, Change Data Capture (CDC), T-SQL, Query Performance Tuning, Execution Plan Analysis, Azure / AWS SQL Administration, PowerShell, SSIS, SSRS, Database Backup & Restore, Production Support.Good to Have : - CI/CD for Database Deployments, SSAS, Python Automation, Grafana, Azure / AWS Database Certifications.
