We're looking for a passionate Senior QA Automation Engineer who not only understands quality engineering but also has a deep love and knowledge of cricket, to help us build robust, scalable, and reliable testing systems that power world-class experiences for millions of fans across the globe. About the Role This is a highly hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving challenging automation problems and building scalable automation solutions. You will play a key role in defining automation strategy, building reusable automation frameworks, integrating automation into our engineering workflows and driving engineering best practices across teams. Beyond writing automation scripts, you will influence how automation is adopted across our Web, Mobile and Connected TV platforms, while laying the technical foundation for future growth of the automation function. Key Responsibilities Define and drive the automation strategy and roadmap across Web, Mobile and Connected TV, aligned with engineering and business priorities. Assess product architecture and workflows to identify high-value automation opportunities and improve testability. Design and build scalable, reusable and maintainable automation frameworks and test suites. Develop automation for functional, regression, smoke and API testing, along with reusable utilities and libraries. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to improve release confidence and execution efficiency. Establish automation engineering standards, coding practices, reviews and reporting. Continuously improve automation reliability, coverage, maintainability and execution efficiency. Collaborate with Engineering, Product and QA teams across the SDLC to drive quality-first engineering practices. Mentor engineers, promote automation adoption and support teams in improving test coverage. Help build and scale the organization's automation engineering capability. Required Skills 7-10 years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation. Strong hands-on experience designing and developing automation frameworks. Strong hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation, along with experience in one or more web automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or equivalent. Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python or similar languages. Experience with REST API automation. Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of Agile development practices and modern software development lifecycle. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Must-Have Debugging & Analysis: Deep experience with DOM inspection, network proxy tools (e.g., Charles Proxy, Proxyman, Fiddler), log analysis, and system debugging. Nice to Have Streaming Telemetry & Analytics: Experience validating video playback performance, bitrates, and streaming telemetry events. .
