Wissen Technology is hiring for Python Developer + Kafka About Wissen Technology: Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with hands-on experience in Apache Kafka to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable backend applications, developing data processing pipelines, and working with distributed messaging systems. Experience: 3 - 5 Years Location: Bangalore Mode of Work: Hybrid Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python. - Develop and support real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka. - Build and manage Kafka producers, consumers, topics, and event-driven architectures. - Develop REST APIs and microservices for scalable applications. - Work with databases and data storage solutions to support application requirements. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. - Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Product teams. - Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices. Must Have Skills: - 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Python development. - Strong experience with Apache Kafka. - Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP concepts. - Experience developing REST APIs using frameworks such as Flask/FastAPI/Django. - Experience with Microservices Architecture. - Hands-on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.). - Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments. - Experience with Git and version control practices. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Good to Have - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Exposure data processing frameworks such as PySpark. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in B.Tech /BE Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
