The candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, and supporting embedded software solutions for Linux-based STB platforms, with a focus on multimedia, OTT, and broadcast technologies. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain software components for STB platforms. Perform feature development, integration, and bug fixing in Embedded Linux environments. Debug and resolve issues across application, middleware, and platform layers. Work on video streaming, OTT applications, DRM integration, and broadcast technologies. Collaborate with QA, hardware, and customer teams for product releases. Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex software issues. Participate in code reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives. Required Technical Skills Core Skills: Strong programming skills in C and C++. Good experience in Embedded Linux development and debugging. Understanding of STB architecture, middleware, and device integration. Knowledge of IPTV, DVB, OTT, MPEG-DASH, HLS streaming technologies. Experience with DRM solutions such as Widevine or PlayReady. Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, Wi-Fi, and multimedia technologies. Experience with Git, Jira, and Linux debugging tools. Understanding of CI/CD and Agile development practices. Set-Top Box Technologies: Solid understanding of STB architecture and video delivery systems. Experience with ATSC, DVB, IPTV, Hybrid STB, or Android TV platforms. Knowledge of MPEG-TS, MPEG-DASH, HLS, and adaptive streaming technologies. Familiarity with CAS/DRM technologies such as PlayReady, Widevine, and Verimatrix. Experience with OTT application integration, media frameworks and qualification Experience in video rendering pipelines and playback debugging Video & Streaming: Understanding of video codecs (H.264, H.265, AV1) Familiarity with streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, RTP/RTSP) Experience in .
