Job Description About the One Solution Centre You will become part of the One Solution Centre (OSC), Schneider Electric's premier engineering hub for bespoke power infrastructure across the Pacific. The OSC designs and delivers integrated Low and Medium Voltage solutions, including switchgear, switchboards, prefabricated switchrooms, busway systems, kiosks, transformers, and modular substations. By combining global innovation with disciplined local execution, the team strengthens grid resilience and supports customers in achieving their sustainability and performance goals. About the Role We're looking for a Lead Engineer, Power Infrastructure to join our One Solutions team and lead the technical delivery of some of the world's largest data centre, cloud, AI, and mission-critical infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for an experienced electrical engineer who enjoys combining technical leadership, project execution, and customer engagement. Working closely with sales teams, project managers, factories, suppliers, integration partners, and engineering centres, you will take ownership of the technical solution from tender development through project execution and handover, ensuring solutions are compliant, reliable, sustainable, and aligned with customer expectations. The role focuses on prefabricated and integrated critical power solutions supporting hyperscale and mission-critical infrastructure projects, including Power Train Units (PTUs), electrical power modules, and related critical power systems. What You'll Be Doing Leading the development of technical solutions for major data centre and mission-critical infrastructure opportunities.Analysing customer requirements and technical specifications to develop compliant and optimised power infrastructure solutions.Supporting tender development through technical reviews, customer presentations, risk assessments, and solution validation.Acting as the technical owner for projects throughout the lifecycle, from handover through to project completion.Coordinating engineering activities across factories, suppliers, engineering centres, integration partners, and project teams.Reviewing and approving detailed engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with customer requirements and Schneider Electric standards.Providing technical leadership during manufacturing, integration, testing, FAT, SAT, commissioning support, and project closeout activities.Supporting design change management, technical risk mitigation, and issue resolution throughout project delivery.Ensuring seamless integration of electrical systems with monitoring, cooling, fire protection, and prefabricated infrastructure solutions.Acting as the primary technical interface for customers, suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders. What We're Looking For Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.7+ years' experience leading technical scopes, engineering work packages, or major customer projects.Experience delivering projects within data centres, cloud and service providers, hyperscale, colocation, utilities, industrial, or other mission-critical environments.Proven experience developing technical proposals and supporting the execution of complex electrical infrastructure projects.Strong expertise in critical power infrastructure, including medium and low voltage power distribution, transformers, UPS systems, battery technologies, busway systems, protection and control systems, EPMS integration, and modular or prefabricated electrical solutions.Experience with Power Train Units (PTUs), modular electrical rooms, or integrated power infrastructure solutions will be highly regarded.Strong understanding of international electrical standards, engineering best practices, and data centre power architectures.Demonstrated ability to review, challenge, and approve complex engineering designs and technical solutions.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership capabilities.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Professional Engineer registration (CPEng, RPEQ, RPEV, NER or equivalent) will be highly regarded.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering next-generation critical power infrastructure for some of the world's most advanced digital infrastructure projects.
