Job Role : Functional QA Lead (Salesforce , API Testing) Experience: 10+ years Location: Bengaluru Work Mode : Work From Office Work Type : Contract [6 Months Extendable] Availability : Immediate Joiners Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Functional QA Lead with strong expertise in functional testing, Salesforce testing, and API testing. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of overall QA experience, proven leadership skills, and the ability to drive test strategy, test execution, and delivery across complex enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers; define roles, responsibilities, and career development plans. Define and own the QA strategy, test approach, and test plans for functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Design, review and execute test cases for Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ as applicable) functional flows and customizations. Lead API testing (REST/SOAP) including contract testing, negative testing, performance boundary checks, and security validations. Coordinate UAT activities with business stakeholders and manage defect triage and resolution. Collaborate with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure quality across CI/CD pipelines. Establish and monitor quality metrics, test coverage, and release readiness criteria. Drive automation strategy for functional and regression suites (Selenium, Cypress, or relevant tools) and integration of automated tests into CI pipelines. Perform risk assessments and prioritize testing efforts based on business impact. Ensure best practices in test documentation: Test plans, Test Cases, Test Data, RTM, and Test Summary Reports. Required Qualifications 1. 10+ years of QA experience with at least 4+ years leading QA teams or projects. Strong experience in functional testing and test strategy definition.Handson experience with Salesforce testing, including understanding of SF objects, flows, triggers, workflows, Lightning, and integrations.Proven experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman, SoapUI or similar tools.Extensive SQL skills for backend/DB validation and data integrity checks.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and tools (Jira, Confluence).Strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; relevant certifications (ISTQB, Salesforce Admin/Platform Developer, etc.) preferred. .
