Location:Pune Experience; 6+ Years CTC: Up to 12 LPA Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Role: Python Developer Job Summary Our Esteemed Partner is looking for experienced Python Developer with 6+ years of hands-on software development experience and strong expertise in Python, Hadoop, Apache Spark/PySpark, HDFS, Hive, REST services, and ReactJS/full-stack development. The ideal candidate will have experience working on front-office applications within the banking or financial services domain and should be comfortable handling complex, domain-specific data and building scalable data processing solutions. Key Responsibilities * Develop, enhance, and maintain production-grade applications using Python. * Design and build scalable distributed data processing pipelines using Apache Spark/PySpark. * Work extensively with Hadoop ecosystem technologies, including HDFS and Hive. * Develop solutions for large-scale batch and streaming datasets. * Build and integrate RESTful services and APIs. * Contribute to ReactJS/full-stack application development where required. * Support and enhance front-office applications used within banking and financial services environments. * Analyze complex financial/domain-specific data and translate business requirements into technical solutions. * Work as a senior developer across the complete software development lifecycle. * Troubleshoot, debug, optimize, and improve application and data-processing performance. * Collaborate with business, technology, quantitative research, and development teams. Required Skills & Experience * 6+ years of hands-on programming experience in an object-oriented language. * Strong production-level Python development experience. * 4+ years of hands-on experience with Hadoop and Apache Spark/PySpark. * Strong experience building scalable distributed data-processing pipelines for batch and streaming data. * 4+ years of experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools such as HDFS and Hive. * 4+ years of experience supporting front-office applications in banking or financial services. * 4+ years of experience as a Quantitative Researcher and/or Quantitative Developer, with the ability to analyze complex domain-specific data. * Strong experience with REST services. * Experience with ReactJS or full-stack application development. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. .
