We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep Citrix expertise to own the delivery, automation, and operational reliability of this platform. This is a senior individual-contributor role for an engineer who can operate independently, set technical direction, and act as the go-to authority for Citrix on the team. Youll keep a multi-tenant production environment running reliably, drive architectural improvements, and raise the bar for how the team automates and operates its infrastructure. On this team, youll use AI-assisted tooling as a standard part of how infrastructure is designed, code is written, incidents are diagnosed, and runbooks are maintained. Citrix Infrastructure (Primary Focus) - Manage the full Citrix Virtual Apps stack in production: ADC/NetScaler (HA pairs), StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, Virtual Delivery Agents (VDAs), and Citrix Director - Own ADC/NetScaler configuration: Unified Gateway, nFactor multi-factor authentication, ICA proxy, SSL certificate lifecycle, load balancing, and session policies - Manage Machine Catalog and Delivery Group lifecycle using Machine Creation Services (MCS) on AWS, including golden image build and update workflows - Administer StoreFront server groups: upgrades, propagation, subscription sync, and availability - Manage user profile solutions using FSx with cloud file storage; troubleshoot profile issues, slow logons, and session reliability - Own Citrix licensing: maintain license server health and manage the transition to License Activation Service (LAS) - Monitor session health and performance via Citrix Director; serve as the escalation point for Citrix incidents Technical Leadership - Act as the teams subject-matter authority on Citrix the person others escalate to for the hardest delivery and session problems - Set technical direction for the Citrix and AWS infrastructure: evaluate options, make architectural recommendations, and drive them to implementation - Mentor other engineers, review their work, and raise the teams overall capability in Citrix, AWS, and automation - Lead post-incident reviews and drive systemic fixes that prevent recurrence rather than one-off patches - Influence roadmap and prioritization for infrastructure work in partnership with engineering leadership - 8+ years of hands-on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) administration in a production environment, including ownership of a production estate at scale - 8+ years of AWS infrastructure experience: EC2, RDS, VPC design, Security Groups, IAM, SSM Parameter Store, Secrets Manager - Track record of operating independently and owning infrastructure decisions end-to-end with minimal oversight - Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction across a team As the recognized global standard for project-based businesses, Deltek delivers software and information solutions to help organizations achieve their purpose.
