This is an opportunity to work on an AI product where LLMs, astrology knowledge, structured planetary data, RAG, APIs, prompt engineering, and conversational AI come together to create personalised astrological experiences. As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and continuously improving the AI systems powering RetroGrade AI. You will work closely with the product and technology team to build an AI engine capable of understanding user questions, interpreting structured astrological information, retrieving relevant knowledge, reasoning across multiple data sources, and generating accurate, contextual, and meaningful responses. Key Responsibilities: 1. Build and improve LLM-powered applications for RetroGrade AI. 2. Develop and optimise RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines. 3. Integrate and work with LLMs such as Gemini, OpenAI and other leading models. 4. Develop sophisticated prompt engineering and context-engineering systems. 5. Integrate astrology APIs and structured planetary/horoscope data with AI models. 6. Build semantic search, embeddings and knowledge-retrieval systems. 7. Develop AI agents, tool-calling workflows and intelligent automation. 8. Create and maintain APIs and backend services connecting AI models with the application. 9. Improve response accuracy, consistency, relevance and latency. 10. Design systems for AI evaluation, hallucination reduction and response quality monitoring. 11. Experiment with different models, prompts, RAG strategies and AI architectures. 12. Work with large volumes of structured and unstructured Vedic Astrology knowledge. 13. Help build a scalable AI architecture capable of serving users globally. 14. Collaborate with developers, astrologers, product managers and domain experts.
