Department: Hospital Operations Designation: Manager On Duty (MOD) Location: Surat Work Schedule: Rotational Shifts / Night Shifts Position Summary The Manager On Duty (MOD) will be responsible for managing the overall hospital operations during the assigned shift, ensuring smooth functioning of clinical and non-clinical services, patient satisfaction, safety, and timely resolution of operational issues. The role will act as the key point of contact for patients, attendants, doctors, nursing teams, and support departments during the shift. Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage day-to-day hospital operations during the assigned shift.Ensure smooth coordination between Clinical, Nursing, Front Office, Billing, Pharmacy, Diagnostics, Housekeeping, Security, and other support departments.Act as the senior operational point of contact during night/rotational shifts.Address and resolve patient/attendant concerns and operational issues promptly.Coordinate with doctors and clinical teams for critical or urgent operational matters.Monitor patient flow, admissions, discharges, transfers, and emergency situations.Ensure adherence to hospital policies, SOPs, safety standards, and quality protocols.Monitor housekeeping, security, facility management, and other support services during the shift.Escalate critical incidents, patient grievances, or operational concerns to the concerned authority.Maintain proper shift handover and ensure continuity of important information.Monitor hospital infrastructure, equipment, utilities, and other facility-related issues and coordinate for timely resolution.Ensure compliance with emergency preparedness, fire safety, security, and patient safety protocols.Prepare and maintain shift-related reports, incident reports, and operational updates.Conduct regular rounds of the hospital and identify gaps requiring immediate attention.Support the hospital administration in maintaining service quality and patient experience.Handle any other operational responsibilities assigned by the Unit Head / Hospital Administrator.Compensation: 40,000.00 - 45,000.00 per month Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred)Night Shift (Preferred)Overnight Shift (Preferred)Work Location: In person .
