Senior Associate - Procurement

Job Title: Procurement Executive Engineer, EV Sourcing Department: Supply Chain / Procurement About Bolt.Earth Bolt. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for EV components, including batteries, motors, controllers, charging systems, wiring harnesses, and structural parts. Source raw materials and components based on project requirements, technical specifications, and budget constraints. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement. Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers. Perform regular audits and assessments of supplier capabilities, quality, and delivery performance. Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, R&D, and production teams to understand technical needs and translate them into procurement plans. Evaluate supplier technical documents and ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Cost & Quality Control: Monitor market trends to identify costsaving opportunities without compromising quality. Ensure timely delivery of materials with the required quality through proper followups and coordination. Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier evaluations. Ensure all procurement practices are in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Required Skills: Bachelors degree in mechanical / electrical / automobile engineering or related field. 25 years of relevant experience in sourcing/procurement, preferably in the EV or automotive sector. Strong understanding of EV components, materials, and technologies. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and procurement tools. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problemsolving skills. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with global supply chains, logistics, and import/export regulations. Knowledge of sustainability and green sourcing practices.
