Looking candidates who has done procurement related to solar EPC Key Responsibilities Procurement & Sourcing - Manage end-to-end procurement for solar projects (SCB, MMS, Cables, VCBs, Cables etc.). - Identify and develop reliable suppliers and manufacturers. - Obtain quotations, evaluate bids, and negotiate commercial terms. - Issue Purchase Orders and monitor order execution. Vendor Management - Develop and maintain robust relationships with vendors - Resolve supply chain issues and ensure timely deliveries. Cost Optimization - Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and negotiations. - Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and supplier performance. - Optimize procurement budgets while maintaining quality standards. Project Coordination - Coordinate with Engineering, Project, Logistics, and Finance teams. - Ensure material availability as per project schedules. - Track procurement status and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Inventory & Logistics - Monitor inventory levels and material planning. - Coordinate dispatch, transportation, and site deliveries. - Minimize inventory carrying costs and material shortages. Required Skills - Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. - Knowledge of solar project components and EPC procurement. - Expertise in contract management and commercial negotiations.
