Head of Procurement, Sofa Division (Mumbai)

The Company is seeking a Purchase Head for its Sofa Division, with a primary focus on leading the end-to-end procurement strategy for all raw materials, components, and goods essential to the manufacturing of sofas and upholstered furniture. The successful candidate will be tasked with strategic sourcing and vendor management, including the identification, evaluation, and onboarding of global and local suppliers for key sofa components. This role requires the negotiation of long-term contracts, pricing, and SLAs to ensure cost-efficiency, as well as the implementation of regular vendor audits and performance evaluations. Additionally, the Purchase Head will be responsible for inventory and material planning, cost optimization, budgeting, and ensuring that all procured materials meet industry safety standards and quality compliance. Applicants for the Purchase Head position should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in procurement, with a solid background in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization. The role demands a candidate who is adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to forecast material requirements and prevent production issues. Experience in developing and managing procurement budgets, analyzing market trends, and mitigating financial risks is essential. The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record in quality assurance, ensuring that all procured materials comply with safety standards and are of the required quality.
