As an Import Export Clearance Executive at our company located in Mount Road, Chennai, you will be responsible for the following key duties: Role Overview: You will play a crucial role in handling import and export customs clearance documentation. This includes coordinating with CHA, shipping lines, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve preparing essential shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, BLs, and bills of entry. It will be your duty to maintain compliance with customs regulations, track shipment statuses, and liaise with clients and internal teams. Additionally, you will be in charge of maintaining accurate import/export records, coordinating with transporters and warehouse teams, as well as resolving any customs clearance and shipment delay issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Handle import & export customs clearance documentation Coordinate with CHA, shipping lines & freight forwarders Prepare shipping documents Invoice, Packing List, BL, Bill of Entry Ensure compliance with customs regulations Track shipment status & coordinate with clients/internal teams Maintain proper import/export records Coordinate with transporters & warehouse teams Resolve customs clearance and shipment delay issues Qualifications Required: 13 years of experience in the Import Export / Freight Forwarding industry Valuable knowledge of customs procedures & shipping documentation Knowledge of ICEGATE / Customs portals preferred Valuable communication & coordination skills In addition to the job responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above, our company offers a range of benefits to our employees.
