Please feel free to peruse our website www.alfalaval.com . As a Field Service Engineer, you will deliver on-site and remote service support for marine-based products and Alfa Laval systems. You will ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards, execute commissioning, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities, and provide technical documentation, training, and proactive customer support. Collaboration with sales and service teams to identify business opportunities is also a key aspect of the role. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for executing services and providing technical support to customers, including advanced maintenance, installations, repairs, condition assessments, and basic troubleshooting at customer sites. Investigate and resolve technical problems on specific products, modules, and systems, utilizing deep product knowledge at customer sites. Train customers or other Field Service Engineers on basic product features. Supervise other Field Service Engineers or external Service Providers during the execution of basic service jobs. Prepare for assigned service jobs according to the FSE Handbook. Follow up on actions and commitments made to customers. Write service reports on site and obtain the customers signature. Update service execution IT systems with relevant information. Report unsafe practices and other safety incidents according to local reporting procedures. Capture Installed Base data on site and communicate sales leads to the sales organization. Provide proactive recommendations to customers related to our service portfolio. Execute services in our Service Centers as required. Hands-on technical experience with shipboard machinery (e.g., High Speed Separator, PHE, FWG, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in reading technical schematics. Candidate Profile Qualification: Min. qualification would be engineers graduate or diploma. Travel: Willing to travel extensively (7580%). License: Valid four-wheeler driving license. Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge; ability to read technical drawings. Experience: 57 years in service/manufacturing/EPC/engineering sectors. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, customer focus, and teamwork. Safety Awareness: Commitment to safe work practices.
