Job Opportunity: Lead AI Engineering Trainer (Forward Deployed AI & Agentic Systems) Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Employment Type: Full-Time / Freelance (Contract) Experience Required: 10+ Years in IT (Minimum 4+ Years specifically in Agentic AI & Generative AI Engineering) Accenture About the Role We are seeking an industry veteran and technical leader for the role of Lead AI Engineering Trainer specializing in Forward Deployed AI and Agentic Systems. Enterprise AI is moving away from basic chat interfaces toward autonomous, tool-using, multi-agent workflows built inside complex client environments. In this high-impact role in Chennai, you will design, deliver, and mentor senior software engineers, architects, and technical teams on how to build, deploy, and govern production-grade Agentic AI applications. You will bridge the gap between core LLM theory and the messy realities of Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE)teaching engineers how to work embedded within enterprise codebases, handle unstructured data, build guardrails, and implement robust evaluation suites. Key Responsibilities Curriculum & Lab Delivery: Architect and deliver hands-on, project-based training on single/multi-agent frameworks, tool use, context engineering, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementations. Forward Deployed Engineering Methodology: Teach best practices for embedded deploymentworking inside client cloud environments, refactoring legacy architecture, handling enterprise compliance, and managing human-in-the-loop workflows. Agentic Frameworks & Patterns: Walk learners through building production agents using orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex workflows) and modern AI SDKs. Evals & Guardrails Coaching: Mentor engineers on designing AI evaluation harnesses, hallucination checks, groundedness metrics, unit testing for non-deterministic code, and latency/cost optimization. Real-World Capstone Guidance: Lead learners through building end-to-end "Customer Zero" enterprise agent projects (e.g., automated document processing, code migration agents, database reasoning pipelines). Core Technical Qualifications & Experience Overall IT Background: 10+ years of total hands-on experience in software engineering, distributed systems, enterprise architecture, or technical leadership. Agentic AI Expertise: Minimum 4+ years of specialized, hands-on experience building, deploying, and scaling Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions in production. Agent Frameworks: Expertise in LangChain / LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, or custom function-calling engine implementations. Programming & Tech Stack: Advanced proficiency in Python (Async, FastAPI, Pydantic) and TypeScript / Node.js. Retrieval & Context Management: Strong knowledge of Advanced RAG, Vector Databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, Milvus, pgvector), state management, and memory systems. LLMOps & Tooling: Deep familiarity with observability platforms (LangSmith, Phoenix, Arize), evaluation frameworks (Ragas, DeepEval), and cloud deployment (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, GCP). Key Attributes & Soft Skills Client-Facing Presence: Experience operating as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant who can communicate with both C-suite stakeholders and developers. Pedagogical Instinct: Ability to deconstruct complex non-deterministic AI architecture into clear, actionable, step-by-step mental models. Agility: Comfortable with rapidly evolving toolchains and teaching emerging AI paradigms as they hit production readiness. What We Offer Flexible Engagement: Options available for long-term Full-Time employment or high-value Freelance / Retainerassignments. Premium Compensation: Top-tier remuneration reflecting the rarity and deep technical expertise required for this position. Cutting-Edge Mandate: Lead one of the region's first dedicated Forward Deployed & Agentic AI training initiatives in Chennai. .

That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
