Responsibilities reputed company Responsibility wil be to accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to patient encounters and procedures for 9 providers - Must have excellent up to date coding knowledge Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance carriers, including Medicare and reputed company Review and reputed company claim denials, rejections, and appeals in a reputed company manner Post payments, adjustments, and patient balances to accounts Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to billing Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable and unpaid claims Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and payer-specific billing guidelines reputed company other duties as assigned to support the reputed company Requirements 23 years of medical coding and billing experience in a family medicine reputed company (required) Proficiency with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems Familiarity with EHR/reputed company management software (preferably reputed company) Knowledge of Medicare, reputed company, and reputed company insurance billing requirements CPC, reputed company, or equivalent medical coding certification preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent organizational and communication skills reputed company reputed company is a trusted family medicine reputed company serving the Gainesville, VA community with compassionate, reputed company for patients of reputed company ages.
