Location: Kanpur Experience: 5-8 Years No. of Positions: 2 Job Type: Full-time Start Date: ASAP Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead automation testing initiatives across web, mobile, and API platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, test strategy, and agile delivery practices. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high product quality, faster release cycles, and scalable testing practices. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing - Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools - Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing - Collaborate with development and product teams during sprint planning and release cycles - Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps - Analyze test results, identify root causes, and track defects through resolution - Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices - Participate in test planning, estimations, and risk assessment activities - Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle - Contribute to performance and security testing initiatives when required Required Qualifications - 5-8 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation - Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as: - Selenium WebDriver - Playwright - Appium (preferred) - Proficiency in at least one programming language: - Java - Python - JavaScript / TypeScript - Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools - Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies - Experience with Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar test management tools - Familiarity with Git version control systems - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Preferred Skills - Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner - Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure - Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes environments - ISTQB certification is an added advantage - Experience working in SaaS or product-based environments What We Offer - Competitive salary with performance-based incentives - Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology projects - Collaborative and innovation-driven engineering culture - Career growth and leadership opportunities - Flexible and employee-friendly work environment - Exposure to modern QA automation and DevOps practices How to Apply If this prospect excites you, send your application to jobs_india@barytech.com with the subject Application for Senior QA Automation Engineer | India | Part Time.
