Equity Research - TMT & Consumer Discretionary - 5+ Years Mumbai (Immediate Joiner) Summary We are looking for an experienced Equity Research professional with strong expertise in fundamental research, financial modelling, valuation, and investment thesis development. The role will focus on companies across TMT and Consumer Discretionary, offering an opportunity to work on dynamic sectors such as Interactive Media, Entertainment & Media, Consumer Internet, E-commerce, Hotels, and Restaurants. Location - Mumbai Your Future Employer A leading global research and analytics organization supporting institutional investors, asset managers, and financial institutions with high-quality equity research, investment insights, and data-driven analysis. Responsibilities Conducting in-depth fundamental research and financial analysis of companies across TMT and Consumer Discretionary sectors. Building and maintaining detailed financial models, earnings models, revenue forecasts, and valuation models. Analysing quarterly results, annual reports, investor presentations, management commentary, and industry developments. Developing investment theses by evaluating company fundamentals, industry trends, competitive positioning, and key business drivers. Monitoring sector-specific KPIs, macroeconomic trends, company developments, and market events to generate actionable investment insights. Requirements Possessing 5+ years of experience in Equity Research, Investment Research, or a closely related role. Demonstrating strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, fundamental analysis, and earnings analysis. Having relevant sector coverage experience in TMT, Interactive Media & Services, Entertainment & Media, Consumer Internet, E-commerce, Hotels, Restaurants, or Hospitality. Demonstrating strong understanding of company and industry research, investment thesis development, and financial markets. Holding an MBA/PGDM in Finance, CFA, CA, or a relevant qualification, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
