Exciting Opportunity Alert! HTC Global Services is hiring NOC Engineers (Zabbix Expert) for one of our premium projects. HTC Global Services - a leading CMM level 5 global provider of innovative IT and Business Process Services and Solutions since 1990 with headquarters in Troy, Michigan, USA. Role : NOC Engineer (Zabbix Expert) Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad We are hiring a NOC Engineer to provide proactive, round-the-clock monitoring and Level 1 / Level 2 incident triage across our payment processing platforms and supporting infrastructure. The engineer is the tactical frontline of the operation: detecting, verifying, correlating, and escalating events fast and accurately, while protecting business continuity and meeting strict response SLAs Mandatory Requirements Zabbix expertise (mandatory): Hands-on operational experience monitoring production environments with Zabbix navigating dashboards, interpreting triggers/problems, verifying raw polling values via \"Latest Data,\" reading historical graphs, and placing hosts into Maintenance Mode, including administrative rights to amend Zabbix templates, macros, or trigger logic. CMDB data-model & dependency correlation: Solid understanding of all infrastructure CI types (network devices, servers, firewalls, load balancers, storage, applications, services, etc.) and their possible dependencies. The candidate must be able to maintain the CMDB data model correctly modelling CIs and their relationships and translate that model into Zabbix template amendments accordingly, once approved by the manager. Fintech / payment-processing NOC experience (mandatory): Proven experience working in a financial-sector NOC supporting payment processing architectures and transactional switching (e.g., card management, payment switches, payment gateways). Professional fluency in English (mandatory): Written and spoken, sufficient to run escalations, handover reports, and major-incident bridge calls. Tools & Technical Knowledge Primary monitoring toolset (mastery expected): Zabbix mandatory, primary infrastructure monitoring platform. AppDynamics (APM) application performance monitoring. SolarWinds (Optional) Supporting platforms (familiarity valued): Jira Service Management (JSM) and JSM Operations ticketing, alerting, on-call. SolarWinds NTA, AWS CloudWatch, Oracle Exadata OEM. Awareness of the surrounding workplace: payment switch, card management, payment gateway, and middleware components. Environment context (for scale awareness): ~100 network CIs, ~500 server CIs, DCs in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, MPLS/private WAN, dual-ISP internet, Aruba wireless stack. Baseline volume: approximately 1,000 incidents per month. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
