Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Territory Sales Officer role based in Darbhanga. The role involves managing sales operations within the assigned territory, including planning daily market visits, meeting existing and potential retailers, and driving product placement and visibility. The Territory Sales Officer will oversee distribution partners, monitor inventory levels, ensure timely order booking, and track collections to meet sales and revenue targets. Responsibilities include executing channel sales strategies, conducting promotional activities, analyzing sales data, and reporting market feedback to senior management. The role also includes building strong relationships with trade partners, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards in the field. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Sales and Sales Management, with the ability to achieve and exceed territory targets.Experience in Distribution Management and Channel Sales, including handling distributors, retailers, and stockists.Understanding of Business principles, market dynamics, and basic commercial terms relevant to FMCG or consumer goods.Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with trade partners.Ability to work independently in the field, plan routes effectively, and manage time and priorities.Proficiency in basic MS Office tools and familiarity with sales reporting or CRM systems.Bachelors degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field preferred.Prior experience in territory or field sales, ideally in FMCG or related sectors, is an advantage. .
