Insurance Representative Commercial Trucking InsuranceWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Insurance Sales Representative with a robust background in commercial trucking insurance. The ideal candidate has experience working with trucking companies, owner-operators, and commercial fleets, and understands the unique insurance needs of the transportation industry.Key Responsibilities - Prospect and develop new business through outbound calling, referrals, and lead follow-up. - Sell commercial trucking insurance products, including auto liability, physical damage, cargo, general liability, workers' compensation, and umbrella coverage. - Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions. - Prepare quotes, present proposals, and close new business. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with trucking companies and owner-operators. - Collaborate with underwriting partners to secure competitive coverage and pricing. - Maintain accurate client records - Stay current on industry trends, insurance products, and state and federal transportation regulations. - Meet or exceed monthly sales and production goals. Qualifications - Minimum of 1 or 2 years of commercial trucking insurance experience preferred. - Proven success in outbound sales, business development, or account management. - Strong knowledge of commercial trucking risks and insurance products. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
