Position Overview As an EntryLevel Remote Data Entry Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable information, supporting internal stakeholders, and contributing to the development of reporting solutions that align with business objectives. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while staying connected with a supportive, technologydriven team. Key Responsibilities Enter, validate, and maintain large volumes of healthcare data with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Assist in the design, development, and testing of reporting solutions, dashboards, and data packages for internal clients. Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsincluding analysts, developers, and business partnersto gather data requirements and translate them into functional specifications. Develop and execute complex queries using Microsoft Access, SQL Server, and TransactSQL to retrieve and manipulate data sets. Perform data quality checks, ensuring integrity, consistency, and compliance with arenaflexs data governance standards. Support the troubleshooting of technical issues related to data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Prepare clear, concise documentation and presentations that communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to data workflows, reporting tools, and automation opportunities. Stay uptodate with emerging data technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements affecting healthcare data. Essential Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Technical Foundations: Familiarity with Microsoft Access (forms, tables, queries) and Microsoft Excel for data manipulation. Programming Exposure: Basic knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and an interest in learning ASP.NET, C#, or JavaScript. Database Skills: Understanding of SQL fundamentals, including the ability to write simple SELECT statements and interpret query results. Analytical Mindset: Strong problemsolving abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for turning raw data into meaningful insights. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting technical information to nontechnical audiences. Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a remote, crossfunctional team environment, demonstrating reliability and proactive engagement. Preferred Qualifications (NicetoHave) Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or other ETL tools. Exposure to reporting platforms such as SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WEBI) or similar. Knowledge of advanced database technologies like Hadoop, Oracle, or experience with Oracle PL/SQL. Familiarity with Crystal Reports or other visualization tools. Prior exposure to healthcare data structures (e.g., claims, enrollment, provider data) and related terminology. Understanding of data security and compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare (HIPAA, HITECH). Core Skills & Competencies Data Accuracy: Meticulous approach to data entry, validation, and verification. Technical Curiosity: Eagerness to learn new programming languages, database platforms, and reporting tools. Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze data trends, identify anomalies, and propose actionable solutions.
