Remote Accounts Receivable Specialist- (EST)

The role involves posting receipts, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining cash application metrics while adhering to service level agreements.ResponsibilitiesPost customer receipts that are in unapplied status, which arrive via store collections, lockbox, Credit Card, ACH/EFT, scanner, remote cash deposits and wiresCommunicate with customers regarding payment application details when the remittance information is not availableResearch and resolve payment application discrepancies as requested by managementManage all short pays and debit memosAdjust store over/short cash entry to correct cash drawerEnter approved adjustments and write-offsManage application of Customer NSFsPerform all 3rd part agency cash applicationPerform all store JournalsManage all corporate misc. cashMaintain cash application metrics reportSkillsExcel experienceAccounting knowledgeCash application experience (3+ years)Knowledge of accounting and / or collections processGeneral knowledge of accountingAbility to perform 10 key data entry with a high degree of accuracy (10,000 key strokes per hour)Proficient with Microsoft Suite of applications including Word, Excel and OutlookKnowledge of billing process and payment postingUnderstanding of balancing proceduresUnderstanding of lockbox arrangementsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work both independently and as team memberHigh School Diploma or GED3 years in cash application or similar jobCall center experience (inbound and outbound)Associates degreePeopleSoft or large ERP experience9Ci or boutique software experienceBenefitsRemote position, working in Eastern Standard Time.Hours 8:00-5:00 with some weekends and overtimeCompany OverviewInfojini Inc. delivers innovative IT Services and Solutions to empower startups, Fortune 500 companies, and global enterprises.
