Job Title: Lead Penetration Tester / Offensive Security Team Lead Experience: 610 Years Location: New Delhi (Hybrid/On-site) Department: Cybersecurity Offensive Security Role Summary CyberQuess a division of RoboQuess is looking for an experienced Lead Penetration Tester to lead its Offensive Security practice. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring the candidate to actively perform penetration testing engagements while mentoring the team, reviewing deliverables, and driving technical excellence across the organization. The successful candidate will serve as the technical authority for penetration testing, guide the team on complex engagements, establish best practices, ensure consistent delivery quality, and advise management on offensive security strategy and emerging threats. Key Responsibilities - Lead and execute penetration testing engagements across web, API, mobile, network, infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise environments. - Mentor and provide technical guidance to the penetration testing team. - Review assessment methodologies, technical findings, and client reports to ensure quality and consistency. - Act as the technical escalation point for complex security assessments. - Support pre-sales activities, technical scoping, effort estimation, and client presentations. - Drive continuous improvement of offensive security methodologies, tools, and processes. - Stay current with emerging threats, attack techniques, and industry best practices. - Contribute to the growth of CyberQuess offensive security services. Required Experience - 610 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing and offensive security. - Strong experience performing Web, API, Mobile, Network, Infrastructure, and Cloud Security Assessments. - Experience leading penetration testing teams and mentoring security professionals. - Proven ability to review technical reports and maintain high-quality delivery standards. - Excellent communication and client-facing skills. - Experience in Red Team Assessments, Adversary Simulation, AI/LLM Security Testing, IoT Security, OT/ICS Security, Active Directory Security, or Container Security will be considered an advantage. Qualifications & Certifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - OSCP and/or CEH preferred. - Additional certifications such as OSEP, OSWE, PNPT, GPEN, GWAPT, CRTO, CREST, or relevant cloud security certifications are a plus. - Experience working with a CERT-In empanelled organization will be an added advantage.
